Chess Terms : Chess Clock Explained
A chess clock (or game clock) is a device consisting of two adjacent clocks with buttons, used to track the time each player spends during a game. After making a move, a player presses their button, stopping their clock and starting the opponent's. Modern digital clocks support various time control modes including increment, Fischer delay, and Bronstein delay. If a player's time expires (flag fall), they normally lose the game.
