Draw By Agreement

A draw by agreement is a draw that occurs when both players agree to end the game as drawn. Under standard rules, a player may offer a draw after making a move. The opponent may accept (ending the game) or decline (play continues). Some tournaments restrict draw offers—see Sofia Rules.
