What is Grandmaster Draw?

A grandmaster draw is a draw agreed between two grandmasters after relatively few moves, often without significant fighting. The term is usually pejorative, suggesting that the players agreed to draw without fully testing the position. Sofia Rules were introduced to combat this practice.
