Hello! My name is Jeremiah, and I am a Retired U.S. Army Chaplain. I like playing chess...not computers! I tend to use this site to "experiment" with new openings, concepts, strategies, and such. For example, I played the English opening for over 8 years on this site to learn as many nuances of the opening as possible. I play versions of it still, but have taken on a new opening to be revealed when you challenge me! I'll likely play this one for years again as well. However, I've been known to try something that goes so wrong that my opponents consider me an easy victory or overrated, only to find my gameplay more challenging on the next encounter. My view is that this site should be one where we are not too proud of our rating to "try new things!!" I like this method of approaching the game...learning through experimentation and experience. I will often crush the skulls, so don't allow me the opportunity!
