A friend taught me to play chess in the fourth grade and ruined my life. I play as many as 50 games at a time with mixed success. I do much better on long haul games than speed chess. In my younger days I played on the beach in Santa Monica with a lot of great players, some former masters from the USSR. And I did pretty well in those days. Even beat a former Bulgarian champion two out of three. But I was younger then and had more time to study. Let's play!
