US consumer spending for the third-quarter annualized rate …….3.8% ! Does this even compute?

Private jobs have surged in Trump’s second a term. Yet people like MBrain writing that he is a failure. See numbers.:

Private sector jobs created…… 1.3 million
Fewer federal jobs… 328,000

Get it….. Trump wiped out 328,000 unnecessary jobs which saved us all a lot of money. I do recall Susie ANNE saying that they need those jobs, implying that we should have let them stay on. So Suzanne did not be reading this post.

United States versus Netherlands
REAL CONSUMER SPENDING GROWTH · Q3 2026
United States 3.8%
Annualized quarterly growth
Netherlands 1.6%
Annualized equivalent, calculated from 0.4% quarterly growth
US advantage 2.2 pp
The American growth rate is approximately 2.4 times the Dutch rate.

Well yes, if we compare to the Netherlands, the growth here is 2.4 times better but we already know that. That’s why we live and work here. A great country, but we have many foolish people. Some people want to vote him out of office because the price of gasoline is higher than they would like to be. That is the reason I kid you not. They do not even know the numbers you and I are chatting about.
Iran is a lot closer to you than it is to us, so you might wanna talk your friends and voting for Trump. You don’t want your backyard on fire.

These 'foolish people' are worried about INFLATION plain and simple. You can cut the cake any way you like unfortunately this is their biggest issue as polls (even on Fox) consistently point out.

Here's some 'numbers:' 59% of voters think 'cost of living' is #1 economic issue...

And have you noticed the people here are always saying Trump is doing a bad job? Do they know how to read numbers??
NJ!!!! They are oblivious to success!!!! They would rather see the success come now to an end!!!!! Put USA in the hands of off-the-wall unproven losers.
It is like a mystery movie.

Think about it. And you wonder why I would rate each of the singly as losers.

No argument. Affordability is the number one concern. BUT…, Do you know that the Red states are all more affordable, each one, than the blue states are.???Put another way, not any of the BLUE states are as affordable as the Red states. See this:

According to research and analysis from the Berkeley Economy & Society Initiative and reports highlighted by outlets like Econofact and Newsweek, blue (Democratic-led) states generally have a higher cost of living and lower housing affordability than red (Republican-led) states.

Must I defeat all you libs’ posts. You write your post like repubs have economic problems. Nonono. Dems do.
Geez.

I agree, the problem runs very deep with few easy solutions.
Unfortunately it has been decades and decades in the making, Nixon off gold in 1971, Reagan's massive deficits from the 1980s onwards and 0% interest from Bernanke & co. have all contributed to the inflation that is currently gripping us...
BTW I feel that I'm more 'conservative' than you on these issues (as we have discussed before) so not sure where the 'Lib' label is coming from, I certainly don't think that the Democrats can sort these issues either...

We agrèe. There are no biz minds among them, I’m sure you’ve seen that. Statesmen? Like Rubio, cream of the crop.? Nope.
So, who they got? Sayed pals with Piker,,,,,annihilate Jews, and he is worse than that. Sayed is queer for him, tho distancing himself till Wednesday. If Sayed prevails, watch for Piker to take the helm. You a Jew? Pity.

So, why is living in the Netherlands so much better for your health, the people are happier and nobody seems to be starving?
