The UAE is actually quite friendly toward Israel. There was also an Indian pilot on the plane, showing the UAE is very inclusive of people from different faiths and backgrounds.
The Israeli PM publicly declaring the attacker was "suicidal" seems to mean Netanyahu is open to the idea this was one mentally disturbed person rather than a terrorist motivated by political beliefs.
Investigation is still ongoing, however, to determine motive.
