President Donald Trump stressed self-regulation over government rules at a major gathering of artificial intelligence (AI) executives and government officials at the White House on Tuesday, September 29, as Congress intensifies calls for stronger industry oversight. After the meeting, Trump said they signed a "morally binding" commitment to build adequate safeguards on the fast-moving technology. "They're going to police themselves."

The lunch meeting brought together some of the world's most influential tech leaders, including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Sundar Pichai of Google and Jensen Huang of Nvidia. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and OpenAI President Greg Brockman also attended. Of the 31 guests, two were women: Susie Wiles, Donald Trump's chief of staff, and Lisa Su, CEO of AMD.

Well as long as they say it is morally binding... I don't even understand the picky journalists and everyone else asking if this is binding in any other way. It's morally binding, the best kind of bind when we're talking about upstanding morally supperious pillars of humanity.

Ask yourselves this: how could they have become so rich if they weren't so moral.

The foxes are guarding the hen houses. And policing themselves.

Reagan said corporations should self-regulate.

Everyone laughed at him then, just like they laugh at Trump for saying this.

It is putting the foxes in charge of the hen house.

The answer to your last question is obvious.

Oh, jinx, sorry.

@Suzianne

Trump telling his biliousaire buddies to self-regulate is Emmett Kelly telling clowns to dress smartly.

If Trump, or any MAGA freak is involved, one knows they are liars. The funny part will be watching them act this supposed morality out in public. And the worthless to God trumptards will fall for it hook, line, and SINKER!

Trump cannot even finish a sentence without lying at least 3 times. Morality my arse. 😆
