@rookie54 saidTake therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

"they say"
i put on basic armor and i went outside the front door
i flagged down a passing woodpecker and asked him if he, too, has lost any sleep recently
he ate a bug
there are a few cats running loose that tend to fight and howl all night long like a rock n roll song

got two reasons why i cry away each lonely night
the first one's named sweet hakima, and she's my heart's delight
the second one is prison, babe, and the sheriff's on my trail
and if he catches up with me, i'll spend my life in jail
a friend of the devil is a friend of mine
if i get home before daylight
just might get some sleep tonight
thank you jerry
i got to thinking
and it hurt
it hurt like crazy
make it stop
who would you hang out with for an evening?
@Kevin-Contretemps
one of the reasons a poll like this or that or the other one is anonymous is so that anonymity plays a roll in the voting
thanks for voting
keep yer reasons quiet so that they do not in any manner influence another's vote
i hope this makes sense to you
for me it's just a basic understanding of how an anonymous poll works
and now that i've decided to write all this to explain and teach a you a thing
i have this urge to delete the entire thing because i do not think you are capable of understanding
oh well
Richard Feynman’s sister, Joan Feynman, once shared a touching story.
One night, in the middle of the night, Richard woke her up and said,
“Joan, wake up… I want to show you something.”
He took her outside to a quiet golf course and asked her to look up.
The sky was glowing with beautiful, moving lights—an aurora.
Richard said, “Nobody really knows how these are formed.”
Years later, Joan would tell this story with tears in her eyes.
She said, “I spent my entire scientific career studying that.
It was kind of him to give me that moment—and to know I would find it wonderful.”
Feynman wasn’t just a scientist—he was deeply curious about the world.
Most people lose their natural curiosity as they grow up. But he never did.
He loved solving puzzles, asking questions, and figuring out how things worked.
He played practical jokes, picked locks, opened safes—sometimes just to see if he could.
He didn’t worry much about what others thought.
He cared more about understanding the truth.
He was also a great teacher.
He believed that if you can’t explain something in simple words,
you probably don’t understand it well enough yourself.
Feynman often described himself as an ordinary person.
He said there are no “miracle people”—just people who keep learning and working hard.
What made him special wasn’t just intelligence, but his mindset: A strong curiosity to learn new things .
The persistence to keep going when things get difficult.
And the courage to follow his own path.

have you given much thought to yer origin?
not yer mom and dad, or grannies and grandpas
or the Cosmic Entity who teases and never pleases
i'm talking about the atoms that make up yer body
stardust
the atoms in your meatsack of water all came from exploding stars
and somebody real smart,
one Jennifer A. Johnson, an astronomer at the Ohio State University,
another female scientist!
went to the trouble of researching those atoms and found out EXACTLY what kind of stars did the destructodance just so you could become you
