@PuzZuLz
Perhaps you should not have added: "Not only did he quit because of ego..."
because that will attract comments. I go for 50/50 and tie breaks.
@greenpawn34
Tiebreaks?
We might as well just have Magnus back.
He played for draws and tiebreaks.
I'm going with Sindarov to win it outright.
@PuzZuLz saidLets see. Interest here seems to be low, given the three cast votes... Maybe interest picks up if we see some exciting games.

@Ponderable
Ya a lot of people were/are fanboys of Magnus just because they were told he was the best and they only watch him if they can be bothered to watch at all.
You see that in sports as well.
New fans cheering for the best teams and they don't watch the other teams because they were told who the best was and that's all they watch.
That chess "boom" that happened recently didn't help the integrity of chess at all.
It just brought in people who need quick gratification and they don't really care about the history or traditions or even the game itself.
Just look at the YouTube videos of chess nowadays and most of it is clickbait for annoying kids or beginners or stupid variations of the game and even cleavage from the females, all for clicks.
Not you or greenpawn personally of course, you two have been around forever.
