Using the UK data, the repeat offender rate is very high - between 35% and 70%. Here, argue with Claude AI again :

*******************************
Adults released from custody or starting court orders: around 37%–38% reoffend — this is the closest match to your "released, then reoffended" framing.
Adults released from short custodial sentences (under 12 months): the rat ...[text shortened]... continue to suffer and the hands of criminals who are released into society. You are the sociopath.
That you think the solution is mass executions shows how out of touch you are with reality.

But please write it as a treatise, please don’t write it to me. I am busy..
Well, it wouldn't be a thread on this Forum without bigotry and racism being thrown into the mix.

I've wasted enough time with you fools; it's Sunday in the US and that means I go out to watch football. You unAmerican types can keep yourselves hunched over your keyboards complaining about everything and anything that you've been told to complain about by your propaganda sources; there's games to watch and beers to drink!

Making these ridiculous statements that I think ... the solution is mass executions .. , just mean your back is against a wall. You know the system is flawed beyond repair but because you [or lawyers in general], beneifit from these criminals, you cannot, or refuse to see that it can be fixed.

Do marauder a favor so that he can slip away from this discussion, ask him if the Muslims are a religion of peace. He will throw you some crap, one of them might be define peace

Relax. The vast (vast) majority of Muslims around the world practice their faith peacefully, focusing on prayer, family, and community, The Quran contains numerous verses that command charity, forgiveness, kindness, and the preservation of human life.

Yes, there are Islamic extremists who have done unspeakable things, (and the Quran, like the Bible has its darker passages) but to vilify the entire religion because of this is deeply misguided, and in Rajk's case, based on fear, ignorance and crazy generalizations.

The ‘vast’ majority of Christians are peaceful as well. The extremists that you speak of….are Christian extremists as bad as the Muslim extremists.? I’m just trying to get a feel for this. Can you give us some examples of both? Like, what are some of the most extreme things done by each religion?

Now, or historically? - These things are fluid after all. - Let's consider: these Christian acts of extremism:

The Circumcellions (4th Century AD): Radical Donatist bands in Roman North Africa who sought martyrdom by provoking Roman authorities or travelers to kill them, often using clubs and engaging in violent rural disruptions.

The Crusades (11th–13th Centuries): Military campaigns authorized by the Latin Church aimed at recovering the Holy Land, which involved widespread bloodshed, massacres of Jewish and Muslim civilian populations, and the violent sacking of cities like Jerusalem (1099) and Constantinople (1204).

The Spanish Inquisition (Established 1478): A judicial institution backed by the Spanish monarchy and the Catholic Church that used imprisonment, torture, and execution to root out alleged heretics, apostates, and forced converts suspected of secretly practicing Judaism or Islam..

The Münster Rebellion (1534–1535): Radical Anabaptists who seized control of the German city of Münster, established communal property, abolished money, and instituted a short-lived, militant theocracy characterized by forced conversions, polygamy, and violent internal enforcement before the city was retaken by besieging forces.

Nobody cares about the animals that wont kill you in the jungle. Its is the dangerous ones you have to watch. We are watching, and you are telling people its Ok, Relax. The wise people of the world, the Jews, the smart Americans and Europeans know about Islam and its barbaric murderous track record. So ... keep your stupid advice. Look around your country and see the amount of girls being raped and stabbed by Muslims .... you f..king dunce.

Dont get carried away with these comments from Muslim supporters that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful. These peaceful moderates are silent an celebrating privately in their homes and mosques when infidels are killed. It is the duty of Muslims to kill unbelievers. Dont be fooled.

Consider this - Nearly 3,000 innocent people died on 9/11. How many culprits were needed to end those lives? 1.9 Billion ? 19 million? 1.9 million? 190,000? 19,000? 1,900? 190?

No, no, no. It took ONLY 19 highly committed Muslims who took the tenets of their faith seriously to cause this irrevocable damage. Same principle for the past 47 years in Iran. 90 million people have been held hostage by a very small minority of hardliners.

The large majority is IRRELEVANT. The bottom line is that you don't need a large percentage Of people to cause unimaginable existential damage. We know from the past 1,400 years what happens to a society once the demographic realities tilt in favour of Islam. Islam destroys people, and turn the country into a slum

I’m not disputing that Christians have committed terrible acts in the name of Christianity. the question iswhether those acts tell us something about the teachings of Christianity itself, just as extremist acts committed by Muslims don’t automaticallly tell us that Islam is inherently violent. If your position is that both Christianity and Islam are peaceful religions whose followers have sometimes committed terrible acts, then I agree,,,,and that makes your list of Christian atrocities beside the point. What im asking is whether you apply that same standard consistently when discussing Islamic extremism.

You’ve given me examples of Christians DOING terrible things; you haven’t shown me that Christianity teaches those things. If we judge a religion by the worst things ever done by someone claiming to follow it, then we have to apply exactly the same standard to Islam. So the real question is: what do the actual teachings of each religion say about violence, warfare, and people of other faiths—not what some of their followers have done?

That puts the discussion where it belongs: TEACHINGS versus historical behavior, rather than competing lists of atrocities.

so do you get it ghostduke? They teach extreming and killing. We just have bad Christians who do NOT follow our teachings.. our teachers don’t say kill infidels. Kiss off.
So you never wrote back to me when I laid open in your face the bankruptcy of the UK healthcare system.
I don’t blame you.

I'd rather be in the UK than the US, if I had a health issue and was on low income. I don't think you guys have much of a safety net.

And sure, as an atheist I treat all religions the same. Both Islam and Christianity should be packed away in a box and long forgotten. - That said, I recognise that the vast majority of Christians and Muslims don't want to kill non believers, and neither are in a religion of hate. (Excluding the extremists).

Massachusetts uses what's called the "McHoul Standard":

"In Massachusetts, the defense may apply when a person’s mental condition prevents them from understanding or controlling their actions at the time of an alleged crime, including during an episode of psychosis."

Explain to me the "justice" of punishing someone who cannot understand or control their actions.
Explain the justice to the public of allowing people who has killed to still walk among us.

Those that have killed others should be locked away

Once identified, it should be acted on, not left to wait until a crime against another forces us to act.
thats is correct in principle but a lot harder in reality.
