Yes, ‘aberrant’ is a judgment. I was making a judgment about behavior, not declaring the people themselves worthlesss. You seem to think tolerance means suspending judgment altogether. I don’t. I can tolerate your right to livve differently while still thinking some things are wrong, unhealthy, inappropriate, or outside the norm. And ‘insecurity?’ isn’t an argument. It is it’s just a psychological label you’re putting on me because you don’t like my conclusion. So back at ya about insecurity.

Depends on what you mean by 'decide. '

I may wake up one morning and decide I want to have toast for breakfast. Now, I'm not an authority on this topic, but I imagine it is not the same process for somebody identifying as the opposite sex/gender. I imagine it is less a 'decision' and more a feeling at the very core of their being. (And probably one that has been there for a long time).

I get that your claim to be tolerant is a little exaggerated.

You made a flippant comment about waking up one morning and deciding they were a different sex. This is so naïve it beggars belief. Is your capacity for understanding that everything we are in life is a calculated decision? That we can choose to be something we are not?

Can I, for example, as an atheist, just decide one morning to believe in God?

Don' t get gist of religion, atheist, maybe another thread, man. OR a better analogy. But who needs an analogy for this?
Please correct me if I am wrong. Have not posters here condoned that a man can decide that that he IS a woman, or that he IDENTIFIES as a woman, and move through society in that guise? I think they have?
So, given that scenario, can a man, I am just asking, do that and 'change back' , in and out, to being a man.....can he go chameleon-like depending on his whim? I am sorry, and I am indeed NOT being flippant.

Let me add that a person can sincerely decide that forever he will dress and assume the nature of a woman. However, a person can 'do it for fun'. Who will be the judge on how to treat that second guy? When does a person 'qualify', and when does he not": I am not asking for confirmation, asI am oblivious to it and will remain so, ......I am asking to see how y'all think.
Let us work that out, and then have a real discussion after settling on the nature of this, the boundaries thereof. A good discussion.
