Okay, now we’re getting somewhere. Your answer is yes, but only if certain conditions are met.

So let’s stick with your position. You are saying that a biological male may compete against biological females if he has undergone what you consider ‘significant gender-affirming treatment,’ unless there is ‘compelling scientific evidence’ that he retains a marked physical advantage. Whew. Bring a scientist to the swim meat.

Like, Who determines what constitutes a ‘significant’ treatment? How much residual physical advantage is acceptable before it becomes unfair?
And Who determines whether the scientific evidence is ‘compelling’? I mean, Marauder.
Andwhy should female athletes have to prove that the male athlete retains a ‘marked physical advantage’ rather than the person seeking entry into the women’s game having to demonstrate that the competitive advantage has been eliminated?!?!? ( my favorite point here, for you to answer this last question)

You think 29 is a big number? And that's like ever, not yearly? And International is included? Entire US states have NEVER had a single trans-female athlete even compete, much less win, and they want to make federal laws that check their undercarriage?

Just the NCAA, which is a small subset of the state, regional, and international athlete total, has 250,000 female athletes.

Your solution is to have the government "check" (whatever that means) to make sure the correct gear is attached before every single athlete competes? THat seems soooo ridiculous for 29 athletes.

Why not just let the sports leagues themselves figure this out? You want government control of intimate details.

By the way, sports leagues do have rules about this, and I'm fine with them defining enforceable strategies for fair competition. Just don't like the government involvement here.

uhhhh, who decides then? What if the girls ask you want you think, these guys want to play against us? Now, here we go....are you going to say what you think should happen, or write a standard pansy answer....the girls decide!

Since you did not answer 'straight out, and instead changed the premise to elements of gender therapy and who-knows-what-else, you did NOT answer the original question. Since it is a yes/no question, bring us all up to speed with your answer. One word. ..you can do this.

Y'all have championed this as a defining cultural issue of our time, and yet you cannot even agree on basic terminology. And i would wager that you don't even watch women's sports at all.

It's a cultural issue that you have strong opinions on but haven't even thought about.

I looked up penis transplant and got nothing. I don't think it is possible to give a female a penis. So I often wounder what the point is of a woman transitioning to a man if she cannot get a penis.
